Cooking a Turkey

I usually cook a very big turkey with the button that pops out when the turkey is done. Well Wally world had a 15lb. limit on their  turkey's after you spent $25. I should have left and went to Safeway. But oh no not me. So this little turkey has no red pop up thing and I had no idea how long to cook this chicken sized turkey. So I went on line and after many false cooking directions I finally found one. Now why would a turkey under 10lbs take longer to cook than the larger one? Anyway I guess I will have to wing it and if its ruined we also have a ham and lots of goodies to go with it. I'll stick it in a bag and put it on about 11am we should be eating the little thing by 1 or 1:30. Next year I am going camping and buying my self a Hungry Man frozen dinner.

All kidding aside, I hope You all have a
WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING DAY!

  1. The company that makes the cooking bags may have cooking times on their website. The cooking bag should reduce the cooking time, I think.
    Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. Hi Teri,
I'm sure it will all turn out just fine. I almost forgot about the bag and then it hit me. But I found one left over from the last time.
I hope you enjoy your RV Thanksgiving and I think I will be doing that next year or just sitting somewhere in a campground.

    Hi My Special Friend,
I am not worried about it just doesn't seem like I need to.
    Happy Thanksgiving My Friend

  8. Hi Sunny,
That cleaning out is good therapy for what ever. LOL When everyone was leaving my grand daughter brought in the tub and we took all the Thanksgiving stuff down and put it away. Even that felt good.
Thanks for coming by today and hope you had a good day.

    Hey Trouble,
I kept dropping a bomb all day today about this it the last time. But the day was fun and I was glad when they all helped clean up and left.

Hope your Turkey day went well and thanks for stopping by.
