Where did the day go?

Today was cloudy and rained on an off. I had planned on cleaning out the cabinets and moving things around. Then I got side tracked and ran to the store to pick up some sweat pants and a few other things. Stopped and picked up a salad at Jack n the Box. After lunch Fred and I went out for a walk. When I got back I started working on an afghan I need to get done for Christmas. Fred wanted to go out so we went for a nice walk. When we came back the dryer had stopped and I was folding the sweat pants when I looked at the clock. I could not believe it was 5:30 ! And it was quite dark already but the sunset was awesome

Needless to say the cabinets didn't get done. Oh well maybe tomorrow.
In the mean time hope you all are having a good start to your week.

  1. Time flies when you're having fun. Some times you're having so much fun you don't even realize it.

  2. There in Az you don't have to contend with the time changes. I just hate when they change this time of year and it gets dark before 5 pm. Of course being darker in the morning I am not waking up in what seems the middle of the night! I just there is just no pleasing me.

    Beautiful sunset!

  3. Hi John,
Its amazing isn't it. So far looks like its going to be a beautiful day so i bet I get side tract again. High for today should be 69 perfect weather for being out side.
Thanks for coming by and have a great day.

    Hello Phyllis,
I am always amazed at this time of the year when it is dark so early and thats when we need to take our walk. Last night as we stepped out the door it sounded like a coyote was just on the other side of the wall. Fred made a beeline for the stairs. LOL I guess he knows they are not friendly toward little guys. It must have moved on cause he came back down and we just walked in the yard.
Thanks for coming for a read. You have a wonderful day

  6. Hey Trouble,
I have put pictures of Fred on here awhile back. Don't like to repeat things to often. Maybe around Christmas opening his presents.
    Thanks for stopping by.

    Hi Sunny,
I remember those days of hurting like that. I am so glad I have had both knees done now.
    I should take some shots of all the things I have made before I bring them down to the Christmas box. I don't do much in the way of fancy not good enough for that. But I try. :}
Glad you stopped by today. You do have a date for your first surgery right?

  7. Awe, you could put pics of Fred up any day, he's a cutie! Do you knit or crochet? At least you took the time to relax & work on it. I do a little bit of crocheting & it's really relaxing to do.Beautiful sunset btw!

  8. Hey TexCyn,
I crochet. I really like it and it keeps my hands busy. I started when I quit smoking 4 yrs ago. I crocheted years ago but gave it up. I belong to a group here at the park called Chics with Sticks. It fun and we do alot of charity stuff. While I am up in Lakeside I make lap robes for the VA, since its cooler up there than here. And work on hats for the cancer center with the simply soft yarn. I will take some pictures of the stuff I have to donate for Adopt a family before I turn it in.
    Thanks for dropping by today.
