Farmers Market

Today was another nice one. Clear sky's a little on the chilly side but warmed up nicely.
Kathy, had mentioned a Farmers Market so off we went to Green Vally to check it out. I didn't expect it to be so large. It seemed to go on forever. People were selling breads, wall hangings, clothes, dishes, soaps and of course jewelery.

The thing I hate is people who don't have the good sense to leave their poor dogs at home. There are always so many people and most of these dogs look quite afraid. I don't see how they think this is cute or being a good dog owner. And why is it even aloud to happen. One dog got aggressive as another dog was walking past.

Even with all the rain there is still a haze in the air. But yes that is snow

In the White Mountains you cannot walk your dog through an Art Show or any other large event, unless it is a working dog. The Humane Society sets up a few shade tents and bring some portable fencing and kennels along and you have to leave your pet there or leave. I really think this should be a law at large events. NO PETS ALLOWED.

OK so anyway it was a great day and of course we walked all over the place to make sure we didn't miss anything. We  even went into a few stores to have  a look see.

We ate lunch at a Mexican place and the food was excellent.

The pictures are of the Santa Rita Mountains;
Well I guess blogger thought the pictures should be up on top. :(P

  2. I agree about the dogs, but think the same about kids. Undisciplined kids drive me nuts.

  3. Ok Ok, I'll take my cats the next time. Just kidding! I don't take my dogs out to events like that either. Heehee, I agree with John, your friends look like trouble ;-)

  4. Hi John,

Yup they are trouble and I love going places with them. Soon we will all be seperated for the summer. :( And we did we had a great time.

Thank you for stopping by today.

    Hey Trouble,

It isn't the kids fault or the doges its the parents. Sometimes I just want to slap them right in front of their kids. Maybe they will learn that way. Who knows.
    Glad to see you hear.

    Hi Cyn,
Glad you are not one of those people I would feel bad for your beautiful pups and beautiful they are and it is plane to see much loved.
LOL My friends are fun to be with I guess I am lucky to have them since we are so alike in so many ways.

  5. Thanks JoJo. I do have a couple of dogs that would love an event like that, but I don't like going into crowds myself, so the dogs definitely stay home!
