Lots Of Wind and Heat

By this time I would already have been up north wearing sweats and jackets. But I'm here and trying to get as much out of the morning as possible before the heat comes. And it has come.

Got out to the yard early this morning so I could transplant  a flower I bought yesterday left over from Easter and a Hen and Chicks I got for my birthday. We couldn't figure out why it was getting leggy and not producing more chicks. Thought maybe the pot it was in was to small. So it got a larger pot today and hope for the best.

I really don't know if I can wait until Sunday to get going. I ran to the store today to pick up grocery's for the trip and household items. Took out another battery operated fan to take along just in case but I really don't think I will need it. I'll finish packing up the camper Friday and see what size cooler I can pack in. Not really bringing much stuff  and ice can be bought up at the Santa Rita Lodge Store. It sure will be nice to get away from all this drama around here.

Last night the neighbors to the left of me came in at 12:30 am and proceed to talk loudly and make and receive phone calls in the carport. What is wrong with some people? I was up until 2. and up again at 5:45 am. Thought about going back to bed but once I am up and take Fred out I am awake. They came back today and started to load up a truck but never finished I sure hope they aren't thinking of coming back tonight to finish.
To my right is a real pain and today the Board finally called the Sheriff to see what we can do about this problem. It seems he got really out of hand at the coffee gathering this morning, sure glad I decided to work in the yard instead. They recommend calling  Southern Arizona Mental Health to see if they can help and get him back on his meds. We shall see if they follow up on this.

I believe this is a in the Lily family. But for $3. I was not leaving it in the store

Good Night All

  1. That flower is sure $3 worth of pretty. One nice thing about RV parks is the published quiet hours. Maybe your HOA could do something like that.

  4. Good morning John,

I thought the flower belong to me when I first spotted it.

We do have quiet hours but some people just don't believe it means them. Last night was quiet. Maybe today they will finish moving out.

  5. Jo I do so understand about neighbors. We don't have any next door but I do believe that each neighborhood gets at least one household. These are the people that somehow forget that everyone else is asleep and talk as loud as possible. We currently have one that is 3 houses away that likes to call their dog (suppose to be on a leash) at 4am. Sigh.

The flowers you showed are miniature cally lilies and can be planted in the ground. The need protection from the hot afternoon sun, otherwise for now a pot in a safe area for them will do.

  6. Hi JMD,

So far it's been quiet hope it stays that way. At least until I leave for a week on Sunday,

Thanks for the heads up on the flowers. Their so pretty and the wind was whipping around so I snuggled them in and they did find.
