Went to dinner with my Granddaughters and Grandson and the Pirate. We had a great dinner at Molina's Mexican Restaurant. Then came back to my place to get the treasure chest. It happened so fast I didn't get a picture at the start but he loved it and had a great time. He didn't want to go home at the end and cried. He wanted to stay here and play with his other toys that are here for the kids. I thought at first he was afraid he couldn't take the treasure chest home but I told he he could take it home it was his. But he just wasn't ready to go home yet.
It was really nice being with the kids again and of course my Pirate.
It was hard to take pictures because he kept turning around to show his daddy and mom all his stuff.
Good Night All
Too cute! You made him so happy. I love it when that happens.
ReplyDeleteI felt so bad when he cried and wanted to stay longer. But he was happy with his treasure box.
DeleteThat is one scary pirate. I did notice he's have a bit of a time deciding which eye needs the patch. LOL
ReplyDeleteGood morning John,
DeleteYes and we all had to have a turn wearing it too.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could catch a little of that kind of joy in our own lives for just a few minutes?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he had a good time!
Hello Jim my friend,
DeleteI think just watching him have such a good time was joy for me. He yelled MONEY when he saw the cold coins. haha
You may need to do a sleepover with the pirate so he will have more time to play.
ReplyDeleteHe won't stay by himself he wanted everyone to stay.
Delete"Moms Little Run Away" has been included in my Arlynda Lea's Sites to See #4. I hope this helps to call attention to your efforts.

I see you borrowed one of my pictures. I'll give it a further check when I'm done.
DeleteBreaks my heart when we head off down the road again and the granddaughters back in MD cry. Nice that our grandkids love us, right?
ReplyDeleteHello Phyllis,
DeleteIt does and this is only the second time I've seen him since he was 6 months old. I 'm glad we bonded so fast he is really a joy.
Glad to see he likes his loot!
ReplyDeleteHi Ryan,
DeleteHe was so excited he couldn't pull the stuff out fast enough.
So glad you had such a great time. More importantly, your little pirate had a grad time. I wouldn't want to leave if you were my gramma, either. :)
ReplyDeleteHello Nancy,
DeleteWe had lots of fun he shares with everyone, He even wanted to share his candy with Fred. HAHA.
I must come up with something for Smiley now. His dad said he really isn't into much but cars. Maybe I can find or make a box with compartments for hot wheels.
I see you on FB which I love the quickness of ol FB and forget to come over here and say hey! ANd I'll repeat ... what an adorable pirate! y'got there... ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn,
DeleteHe is really a great little guy. We had fun until he had to go home. :(
What a handsome little pirate! Glad his day was so special. :)
