It's A Love, Hate With Verizon

These past 2 days the weather has been absolutely beautiful. Humidity is way down and so are the temps. Doing lots of being outdoors.

Last night right in the middle of blogging my Internet went away. I couldn't get it back up. This morning still no Internet. So I called a few people who have or I thought had Verizon but they all dropped it. My daughter said the phone and tablet worked fine. So I just shut down and moved on to other more interesting and less aggravating things.

Did a load of laundry and walked around the yard looking for weeds. Pulled some things out of the cabinets that I need to clear out. I found things stuck in the back that I haven't used in ages so out they will go. I am thinking maybe to do a table at our neighborhood yard sale in Nov. Maybe I can make a few dollars off some of this stuff.

Then spent more time outdoors watering the plants on the porch.

Yea it's a tough life but someone has to live it.

Tomorrow I think I will go through the camping gear and sort that out and maybe even get around to loading up the camper before the heat comes back in a few days.

And as you can see the Internet finally came back up.

Good Night All

  1. Sounds like cleaning cabinets is like being on a treasure hunt.

  2. I'm glad I quit Verizon and now have AT&T, but of course that only works at home. If I go camping I just do without the computer and internet, which allows me to enjoy the camping a lot more.

  4. Good morning John,

It sure is but these treasures can now belong someone else.

    Hi Gypsy,

I would gladly get rid of it but if I am gone for longer periods of time I need it to stay in touch with family and of course post my adventures. I don't use it all day just at night and early morning over coffee.

    Hi JMD,

Yes I hear lots of negative things about Century Link. To be fair a few good not many.

  5. I've had Sprint and Verizon, and now have a back up of AT&T. Verizon has performed the best for me.

  6. Hi Judy,

I didn't know AT&T had internet service for mobile travel. Verizon works well away from my home base, just not at home base for some reason
