Sedona Red Rocks

Enjoyed the nice cool morning over coffee. We then got ready to go into Sedona. Drove the lower Red Rock Loop it was breath taking.

We went into Sedona and checked out a few stores as I was looking for something for my friend. We didn't do much as it started to get hot.

We headed back to the cabin and had a bit of lunch. Then went for a nice walk around the resort and more picture taking. I have tons of pictures and will up load in more than one post.

Not very happy with the color

Blogger is a pain in the neck this picture was taken at the Resort

And we hoped over to Egypt
This is also at the resort

This vine had been hacked off a tree

Tomorrow there will be more and I hope they come out in order.

Good Night All

  1. No wonder the Sedona area is so popular. Nice pictures.

  2. Good Morning John,

Yes it is a place of wonder for sure

  3. Morning Jo! Sedona is always beauiful

  4. Are there a bunch of mosquitoes around the water? Obviously I have mosquitoes on the brain lately.

  5. Hi Ryan,

Yes I haven't spent time here before it was always a rush through. Driving around the Red Rock Loop was amazing.

    Hi JMD,

Didn't spend to much time there but sprayed ourselves before we walked down to the pond. But there are mosquitoes here for sure.

  6. Looks like a nice resort and a waterfall, too.

  7. Hi Teri,

It is a very rustic place no fancy stuff. Love it. The little waterfall is run off from the spring which created the pond. There is a swimming pool and a club house but didn't visit those. Lots of skeeters now that the humidity has picked up and the clouds are moving in. But that's OK it was great to get away for these 3 days.

  8. it is a splendid area for photos...I love the red rocks and the blue sky!!!

  9. Hi Sondra,

Yes it is but never try to take pictures through a dirty window haha
