Coolness

At 5am I woke to a lite rain and a nice breeze. The temps remained in the low 80's it was wonderful. Tomorrow we will be in the 70's. Of course this is all just a tease as the temps will climb again.

I had to go pick up a refill and do some shopping. I hated to leave the coolness of the porch but I had to get this done.

Picked up the script and they actually had the price right this time. Wonder if it had anything to do with the fact I told them I was tired  of the ever different prices. She said take it up with your Ins. I told her I did. Plus I get notices of what I have paid out in prescription so I was also armed with that. I will continue to take these with me from now on.

Then off to Walmart I went. They had some tops on sale so I picked up 3 since my clothes are starting to look old.

Bought some speakers for the laptop, don't know if they are no good or they are not compatible but all they do is hum loudly so I will take them back. Guess I will just have to use the ear pods which I really dislike. I don't know how these kids or even some adults can stand having them in their ears all the time.

Sciatic nerve did not enjoy the shopping trip at all. So took it easy for the rest of the day.

Tomorrow is trash day so I had to go around and empty all the trash cans including the shredder. Of course I got that all over the place so tomorrow I will vacuum.

 Good Night All

  1. We use the light-weight headphones on our laptops and they work great.
Hope they can continue to fix up your back.
    Be safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  4. I think insurance is definitely paying less on prescriptions, or the stores are charging more. The only Rx I have now is drops for my eyes, and it's gone up close to $2. for a tiny bottle.

  5. What I mean is that the price has increased nearly $2 a bottle!

  6. Hi Rick n Kathy,

I need to look around I must have head phones somewhere. The back will have to heal on its own but the sciatic needs constant stretching in a squat or by pulling the knees at far to the chest as possible. Some days I need to do more stretching.

    Hi Sondra,

The ones I have have a little bit of soft stuff on them but they are still annoying and then I feel like I still have them on even when I don't.

    Hi JMD,

HAHA I was thinking that when I was writting the post old clothes old body,

    Hi Gypsy,
Yes they sure have increased the price we are paying for prescriptions. One I was paying for was $6.30 for a 3 mth supply is now $96.

  7. Hey Jo I have a laptop speaker for the heavy rains cant hear myself think with them beating on the camper. Makes a loud humming noise only when I am charging it on USB and using it. So I just charge it before I need to use it. Might help?

  8. Hi Ryan,

This one is electric is yours? Let know maybe that's all it needs. I plugged it into an MP3 which I have been using for the ear buds since I don't have one of those pin outlets on the laptop. I get great sound from the ear buds but nothing from the speakers. Need to look around to see if I have any headphones around.

  9. Somewhere along the line I lost my speakers on my laptop and neither of us can figure out what happened. So someday I'll need to take it in somewhere. I only take two prescriptions which are generic so not too expensive, but Jim's put us int he poor house every three months.

  10. Hi Sandie,

I have no idea why my speaker quit either. Sometimes they work for a few minutes then just stop.

Prescriptions have become a really money maker for the companys and it is a crime as far as I'm concerned

  11. Maybe the speakeryu bought is Bluetooth, and you don't have it connecting to the laptop. It can be tricky.

  12. Hi Phil,

No we made sure it wasn't blue tooth, but thanks for your input, I still feel like I have those ear buds in my ears and haven't used them since yesterday
