Christmas Weather

Today was a beautiful day, as much as I had a chance to enjoy it. Had the door open to let the oven heat out. Tomorrow should be pretty good too. But Christmas day the temps will plunge and we may have some snow flurries or rain. The temp on Christmas day will be 58. I will be celebrating Christmas day with family members who have to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the 26th and it will be 48 degrees. These temperatures will last for at least a week. While the east coast is in the 70's.

Today I baked my first pineapple upside down cake and a chocolate chip cheese danish. Have no idea how they taste. Tomorrow I will make an cherry pie which will be my own recipe. Poor family. LOL

I also went over the gifts to makes sure no one was forgotten and decided to put wrapping paper on the 4-5 yr olds. I think its much more fun for them to rip them apart than just open a box. So all is good in the gift department.

If I don't get back here on time Merry Christmas Everyone!

Good Night All

  1. We've had lots of rain yesterday and last night. And I think we could have more. Those 50's just stretch out there forever it seems. I'm not baking this year. Which is a good thing since so many folks here in the park have been bringing us so many goodies. Have a very Merry Christmas.

  4. Yes, it is unseasonably warm here in Pennsylvania. But I do hope it will be warm there in AZ when we hit it late January.
