I ran some errands today and met up with my friend Lucy for lunch at our favorite place.
After lunch I went to Walmart to pick up a few veggies to make a new recipe. I need to use up some of the carrots and celery I already had. The soup came out really good and will be nice for these cold, cold days. Tomorrow I will make a bean soup to mix things up a bit.
I think tomorrow I will also start putting away some of the Christmas decorations as I am tired of looking at them and want to get things put back to normal.
My friends Kathy an Jerry made it back to Tucson late this afternoon from Wisconsin. They got lucky with the weather on the drive in as a matter of fact they were just ahead of all those storms.

We had one sunny morning with no misty rain so I took the garland and wreath down and gald I did for now its back to mist, fog, rain, humidity. El'nino is trying to drown us this time around.

By mid January the temp will be warmer in the mid 60s. right now we are in the 50s.
