Cold Again

The forecast for today was sunny and 65. It sure wasn't sunny or 65. I went over to the Casino to see my friend Louise and see what they have been able to fix on her trailer, and let Fred have a play day with all the other dogs. I almost changed out of my sweat shirt for a t- shirt but changed my mind. Sure glad I did and sure glad I grabbed a jacket. It was cold and a little windy.

The dogs had fun and we had a nice visit. Louise made Friends with a guy who is also parked there and he is helping with some repairs. Her trailer had lots of water problems and condensation added to it was not very healthy or comfortable for her. Hope they get it all fixed up so she will be nice and dry soon.

Phillip the guy helping her just bought a class b from a car lot for $1500. I wanted to die. It needs some TLC and I bet he will fix it up really nice. I offered him $2,000. but he wouldn't go for it. lol

Only spent about an hour n half there as it just started to get colder and winder er.

I need to stop at Walgreen's on my way home but it was so packed I just came on home. I'll run over there in the morning.

I hear the Gem Show will be starting next week and let me tell you this town will be insane. I told Louise and Phillip they better not leave their spaces or they will be filled up when they get back. And I have no desire to go anywhere near the freeway or any other part of town.

Have a great weekend

Good Night All

  2. Dreary here too. This is going to be a long winter. We sure aren't hoing anywhere near the west end of phoenix tomorrow. Between football games and marathons it is going to be a mess.

  4. Hi JMD,

Yes this has been one cold winter and we have a long way to go yet. But I still would rather be cold than hot.

    Hi Sandie,

Was hoping for a nice day to sit out and get some sun I have no color left. All the activities are starting now here too and then the town turns into a crazy mess.

  5. I wouldn't have thought to look on a car lot for a class B, but it makes sense I guess.

  6. Hi Gypsy,

I would have thought it would cost huge amounts of money myself. It is kind of messy inside but that is not a big issue as long as the big ticket items are in good condition. This guy seems to be knowlegeable about fixing things.

  7. I found my van on a used car lot too...I've had it for 4 years and I sure got my $2,500 worth out of it...and knocking on *good wood* I will get another 100,000 miles out of it. Right now it need front shocks and brake rotors on the front. MY oil man here explained why I had that problem with the oil in NV...

  8. Hi Sondra,

well I guess I better start looking in the right places instead of Craig's List. I would like to have a Dodge I think you can get really good miles out of them. Thanks for the heads up.

  9. Were you up at the Del Sol? If so was it pretty crowded? Warmer weather is on the way!

  10. Hi Ryan,
Yes my friend is staying there. It isn't to bad not really crowded, but the Gem show starts in about a week or so. I told her if she needs to stock up she better get it done or when she returns she may not get her spot back. Hope to see you there this winter.
