I Like It

Went to breakfast with my daughter this morning and then to Lowe's to return the things I bought the other day. Of course I spent more than the returns came too.

We came back here and Tracy moved some plants so I could put the bistro table where I wanted it. I'm happy with the set up. I need to take the white chairs out to the carport side and there is a cushion that just doesn't fit in anywhere so I guess I'll take that to the donation center with some other things.

My daughter Debbie came over with a map of the graduation center and parking. The other day the dogs got into a fight and some how she wound up with a pretty nasty foot injury that may have been caused by her son's foot. She is now sporting a special shoe and she sure isn't very happy about it. This is such a busy week for her.

A new Humming bird feeder was bought today

A few summers ago I bought the white roll up that I intended to hang somewhere and it was to small. As you can see the sun is on this side of the porch most of the day and the wind blows hard enough to peel off your skin. It was also killing all my plants, so I put the blind long ways and tied it on, worked out really well and now I also have more privacy
The white chairs with red cushions will go on the carport side of the house
I have had this shelf hanging in this spot for years

So this is my little paradise in the early mornings and hopefully evenings when it cools down.

Good Evening All

  2. That is just perfect! Nice hummingbird feeder, I had to take ours down because bees covered it and then wouldn't leave us alone on the patio. Shame. The feeder was hanging on a tree about 15 feet from our patio. grrrr.

  3. You've done a great job of creating your little get away. It's peaceful and not overly crowded.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  5. Hi weekend,

I always enjoy being with my daughter for out Sunday breakfast. I miss her when it doesn't work out.

    Hi JMD,

Thank you, I love sitting out there and I should be out there now. To keep getting that many bees there might be a hive near by, that is to bad I love watching them.

    Hi Rick n Kathy,

Thank you, I just need to take the white chairs off and the red pillow leaning on a chair away.

    Hi Sondra,

Thank you, I just love it. Yesterday the wind kicked up so bad again and blew all the pretty flowers of my hanging basket. We had been looking at more yesterday sure glad I didn't buy them. I guess every time the wind blows I'll just take this one down.

  6. I would love to sit out on my porch, or even on the driveway, but the winds always blow directly into my lot and the entire place gets dust and dirt constantly. I'm not going to clean constantly, so I just don't sit out there. I bought a roll up shade that doesn't fit - it would stop some of the sun coming in from the side, but the dirt blows head on from the street. Enjoy your paradise!

  7. Hi Gypsy,

OH the wind I get it like that too. But early in the morning it is calm and thats when I sit out there. I turned my roll up shade on its side and tide it to the railing it helps a bit
