It is still terribly hot.
Yesterday I ran to the Super Walmart because I needed dog food and I am looking for something to store all the yarn in that looks halfway descent. They only had the small bag of dog food or the super large bags. This has been an ongoing problem. I did see a really nice piece for the storage but it was expensive and it needs to be put together. I would have had to take it in the house piece by piece as it would be very heavy. They also had those plastic drawer things but they cost just as much as that nice piece of furniture. I guess I'll just have to keep looking.
Cooked up some white beans and black beans today. I would rather cook them than buy canned as they add to much stuff to them. I also cooked the remainder of the lentils yesterday.
I have been collecting lots of salad recipe for the summer months and the beans will be used in them.
Also cleaned out some drawers today. I can't imagine why I save some things. But the trash is full. I'll do more each day until I also have a bag to go to donations which is filling up fast, maybe a 2 bagger this time.
The weather said we will drop down into the high 90s but I don't see that. They also said we will be getting some rain this weekend.
Next Wed. is the official start of the monsoons. I wonder how that will go.

It's hot here in Montana also. Got to 97 yesterday and normal temp for this time of year is 78. And the heat means wind and hail threats almost every afternoon. So are we having fun yet?

I feel so good about the drawers I've cleaned out and the stuff I've donated. I still have so far to go and will be working on it probably until I die!

ReplyDeletewe had 2 nice days...but like you say "they said" it will be getting much Hotter..not looking forward to that. It is nice to have some empty space, I got rid of a bag full of clothes when I made the move!
