The heat is way up again but the humidity is down a bit. No more rain seems to be happening in this monsoon season. Today my thermometers read 110.
I took Fred to the groomers early this morning and of course he cried and barked the hole time. He is such a cry baby. I wait outside because it only takes about 20 min to bath and cut his nails. I used to leave but Jodi said he does that even when I am not outside.
We came home and both of us had breakfast. And then went to Walmart Grocery Store. I keep trying to get out in the mornings so its not so hard being in the house all day with everything all closed up. I'm so happy to be back to the exercise class which is 3 mornings a week. The other mornings I try to get out even if I just walk around a store.
Tue. I had to pick up a prescription so I walked around Walgreen's for a while. So as long as I keep trying to get out every day I am OK with the rest of the day indoors.
Hope everyone is keeping cools as I hear it is nasty hot just about everywhere across the country and even Canada.

You are smart to try to exercise or walk every morning. I don't walk around stores if I can help it because it's too tempting to spend money! I did go to Target this morning and only bought the 3 items on my list.

ReplyDeleteI took a walk at 9 am yesterday I was soaked when I got back! Gotta get moving today too. Hope it cools down some for you we still have HUMID and HOT! Poor Fred hope he is over the shock now.

At nine here it is already to hot to walk. There is a group that walk here around 5:30 - 6 am and I haven't heard them or seen them in a few days. But they walk to fast for me anyway. Fred is fine been running all over the place with his new treat. They roll and he loves to chase them. Sometimes I think he thinks he's a cat.
8:30 am here and already 87 we are supposed to be 107 today. Sigh. Just melting temps.

ReplyDeleteI came out of class at 10:20AM and it wasn't to bad yet! I won't be leaving again today and maybe not tomorrow either. It says it's 98 right now at 11:35 but I bet if I go look outside it will be over 100.
Low 90s. Up in these parts hopefully we get some rain soon! 9500 ft is sounding pretty tempting

ReplyDelete90s sounds so good right now. My friend from Greer pulled in the other day she said it is so nice there. At least you have the ability to go higher if you need too.
