Tonight's Sunset

We haven't had any rain for 2 days now and it feels pretty good. Temps under 100 with med. humidity.

Cleaned house did small load of laundry and crocheted a bit on the afghan.

I think I will get out for a bit tomorrow so I don't go stir crazy. I did get some great pictures tonight of the sunset.

Good Night All

  1. Oh wow! Those are beautiful pictures, Jo. I saw your comment about the oxygen. I haven't gotten mine, yet, but will keep you posted how They work when I get to NM. I was never good at geography but when you mentioned Madera canyon the other day I was hoping it was in reasonable driving distance so maybe at the very least we could meet for s cup of coffee. I didn't realize how far it is. My daughter is going to meet me on 9/23 and I'll pick her up at the Albuquerque airport and we'll drive up through NM to Durango and return on 10/3. I've made reservations for that period of time (she likes the amenities of the more expensive campgrounds and likes to shop). So I'll be changing altitudes a number of times. Hope it works for the two of us if we need it. Pats and hugs to Fred!

  2. You got some great photos of a beautiful sunset. Ours was a deep beautiful shade of red, but didn't spread much over the sky. It was just a small area of gorgeous red. I don't know why I didn't grab my camera.

  3. Hi Nancy,

I hope this stuff works too. I really want to get on the road again. I need to get some things sold and gather more money to maybe buy a small trailer of a conversion van with a high top. I think it will be much easier for me than camper shell on the truck. I was hoping you might come this way but your plans are pretty set up at this time. Fred gave a wag for your sent pats.

    Hi Gypsy,

Glad you liked the photos, haven't been taking pictures since there really has been anything exciting going on. Just waiting for Autumn and cooler let humid weather to get out.

  4. Jo, I got two bottles of oxygen from Amazon, and shortly after I got an ad from mypilotstore.com and got a can for half the price of Amazon. Just thought I'd let you know. I don't see any specific storage advice on the cans. I guess it's safe to secure them in the truck with me and take them in the trailer with me. I assume the heat wouldn't be too great for them. Do you know any more than that?

  5. Hi Nancy,
I don't know anything more. But mine sat in the mail box maybe for 2 days and it was scorching hot here. And it seemed fine. I'm going to check out your mypioltstore.com if the stuff works I woud like to get a good supply and half price sounds really good. Thanks for the update
