Giving The A/C a Break

We had some great rains for a few days. The temperatures dropped but the humidity was up of course. So I just kept the house closed so as not to let in the damp warm air and it kept the A/C from running constantly gave it a nice cooling down of it's own. I did open blinds to let in some light since there isn't much sun it was much to dark. It was nice to see outside again. The rain has tapered off a bit now and they say the triple digits are on the way. We will be in the high 80's for 2 more days then it will go up until Friday when it will be back in the triple digits. No rain is in the forecast.

I took these sunset photo's the other night after a big storm came through but they didn't show the true colors.

The pictures were taken off my porch facing south

My daughter and I have been doing breakfast at my house as we both had big financial month I don't mind and we ate well at a cost of maybe 1 meal out. Tomorrow we are going to do Mexican.

Good Night All

  2. Glad to read you are having a slight cool down but it would be nice if the rain would give you a lite shower or two each day.
Stay Cool and Enjoy your visits with your daughter.

    It's about time.

  3. Hi George,

Yes and they were wrong about no more rain, it started late last night and is still raining but we love it. haha yep just one.Making Chorizo and egg burritos.

    Hi Rick and Kathy,

Yes the cool down was a much needed break and we did have lite showers at least once a day. It is raining pretty good right now. Forecasters were wrong but that's fine

  4. Any cool down in AZ is a welcome time. Enjoy it while you can. And I hope it rains more down your way. We are just now starting to dry out here in Montana from the very wet spring they had. I'm hoping the fires don't get too bad this year.

  5. NICE! I know you are thrilled to get some rain and a change up in the hot weather. Hot n humid here and that always means pop up storms are possible. Hope it lasts for you.

  6. I just returned from the East to a very hot Sacramento! I don't think we will get any more rain until late fall or winter. Enjoy your rain whenever you are lucky enough to get some!

    1. Hi Gypsy,

I know you must really feel it after being east for awhile. We always enjoy the rain since it doesn't come very often these days
