a quick Wally run for color ink and purple yarn.
I came back and made some coffee and a bowl of cereal. I
heard Liz at the screen door. Liz was going to the spring to get
some water and ask me to go. Well if you have never been
somewhere you just have to go RIGHT!
So I grabbed the Canon and out the door I went. What a
beautiful place. It is on Apache Land and to camp or fish a
special permit is needed. It is $10. a day or $100. for the year.
Liz purchased the 1 year pass and has been to the Lakes many
times and has caught lots of great sized trout. The 3 of us are
planning a trip out there as soon as Liz's yak is delivered.
I will have to post at least 2 posts on this maybe 3.
I have some great pictures for tomorrow.
Not so sure I'd want to share a campsite with a heard of cows. Love the fact you were able to again postpone laundry. Your thought process mirrors mine.
ReplyDeleteGood morning John,
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would want to share either. Laundry won this morning. :(P
Looks like a really nice place to visit.
ReplyDeleteHello Teri,
ReplyDeleteYes can't wait to see Big Bear Lake next.
Looks like a wonderful place to me... This will have to go onto my may-make-it-someday list!
