Yesterday the heat came on full force HOT! I never left my house as I was hoping to be better so I could go see the babies today.
Woke up with renewed pain not quite as bad but not good enough to drive clear across town and walk to where ever Amanda's room is and then all the way to NICU. I increased the meds to a full dose instead of half. I am going to see those babies tomorrow if it kills me.
I sat out on the porch for about 15 min. and then heat drove me back in doors. I am about to climb the walls. This week they have been giving lots of free channels and there still isn't a darn thing to watch.

Beautiful Babies!!! You must be proud!! Having lived in Yuma, I know that heat and never want to experience it again.
ReplyDeleteThe babies are so precious! Hope you're soon feeling well enough to see them.
ReplyDeleteWe avoid going outside as much as possible. However, with two dogs that need to be walked we take turns going out with them. So excited that it's going to only be 99 on Friday. There is nothing, and I do mean nothing, like babies. They are so beautiful and I sure hope you can get up to see them today.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I can't even imagine living in Yuma in the summer.
This is bad enough.
Hi Gypsy,
Thank You and I sure hope to get there this morning.
Hi Sandie,
I'm so glad I put up the portable fence so I can just let Fred out now. But its so hot and I won't leave him out there much to his dismay. So it becomes and in n out game.
It must seem funny to others when we get excited about it only being 99 outside. Hope you hear from the Dr. soon so you can pull out 2 more weeks for me.
Its been hot here too and humid! Some rain came this afternoon..cute baby pics! Hope that back gets to feeling better soon.
