Chix with Stix Christmas Charity Dinner

Our charity dinner was very successful. Donations were wonderful and $1,121. was collected not to mention all the food, toys and other much needed items. We had about 7 Firemen with us tonight and they are always so much fun. Luckily tonight they did not have to run off to any emergencies. We did raffles and the items won were donated back to to the cause.

I also need to give a BIG THANKS to the Mountainside Village Activity Committee for their donation of the food that was cooked and served tonight to all the guests. 

 Vivian and mom Betty our teachers and leaders of Chix with Stix.
We can never thank them enough for all their efforts and patience with us. See you Ladies in January.

 And our wonderful Fireman from the Drexel Heights Fire Dept. and Lois in the middle who does so much work to organize this event.

 Randy who cooked up this excellent meal and Barb who did so much work in the kitchen too and made a fantastic pumpkin ice cream dessert.

 And team Jerry, Kathy and Dick helping  serve up the meal.

And Tom auctioning off the tables to see who bid the highest to eat first and so on.

I was losing power on the Canon, and the Kodak totally failed. There is a little slider thing that holds in the battery it moves and the battery pops up so there was no power and the battery went dead. Oh well I am glad for the shots I did get as these people made this all happen.
