Is it time to leave yet?

I haven't done much these past few days, But the normal house stuff, laundry, washing the floors, shredding more paper. Took some walks and talked to some friends.

Yesterday went out to the Desert Museum to renew my membership since I will be going there this Sat. with some of my grandchildren. This may be my last year as the price has gone up again and its getting way to pricey. Its to bad cause I really like going there. And they do a beautful job of keeping it up. I know it costs plenty to keep it going but the yearly cost is just to much.

The RV Repair place called yesterday about that stinkin entry door lock. They said it can be fixed. I told him it has been fixed a few times already and it doesn't stay, but a replacement will take a week to get here and I won't be. So they will fix that one and if it fails while I am gone I will call them to order a new one and continue to use the dead bolt as I have been.

OK I guess thats about all for now.
Talk at you all tomorrow

  3. Like the old saying goes..."a watched pot never boils!"

Take a deep breath, sit back, and the time will pass until it's time to leave!

    Wish I were going!

  4. Hi Jim,
I would love to pick you up and take you along. I am going to be very busy for the next few days so I will be OK not to much fidgeting. :)

Thanks for coming to read today.

  5. I don't even lock the regular lock on my entry door anymore. I just do the deadbolt. One day, when I discovered (by accident) that the gas cap key fit that lock, I was stunned! Then I figured it was probably not a very safe lock anyhow. So deadbolt it is!
