A Project

This morning was really nice and sunny. Then it turned dull and it looked like rain.
But it never did.
I  picked up Kathy and we hit a few stores looking for racks to set dishes in. I found what
I was looking for but they didn't sell them. they were used for displaying their goods.
Kathy suggested we try Good Will. I Found something I couldn't tell you what it was
supposed to be or what it was . I wondered if maybe it had been a bed tray. Bit it has slotted racks
and I don't think that would be very stable. They charged me $3. but oh well. I brought it
home and took it a part. I had to cut off the ends of what appeared to be legs that folded
under this larger piece to make it fit in the cabinet. I could fit the sandwich plates  on it
but nothing that had a bigger lip to the edge. At least that was something.  I found a web
site that sells the racks, but you had to send an e-mail with what you are looking for. So
far no answer.

I found the risers that you can put on  bed frame at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They are
are made of wood. My sofa is very low and it seems hard for me and others to get off.
I never realized how heavy that couch is or I am just getting old. I'll have to see if Debbie
can get one of the boys to come over Sunday and lift the couch while I put the legs under.

I was watching something about the big storm on the east coast. And how it happened or
what caused it to be so bad. It was hard to see the boardwalk in Seaside Heights. Whats
left of it anyway. When we no longer went to Asbury Park we started going to the
surrounding areas of Seaside. We spent so much time hanging out on the Pier where the
roller coaster  once stood. All the summer kids hung out there and met many of the kids
who lived there year round. It sure brought back lots of memories. But was so hard to
 see what damage had occurred.

Good Night All

  1. You can buy dish holders at Campging World.
I bought a set of them that holds plates, bowls, desert plates etc. They work great as each holder holds about 6 items. They look like a plate with sides and slots. The slot areas allow you to remove one at a time. Awesome helpers to avoid the dishes from moving around. Rick & Kathy Rousseau (Its about time)
