Humming Birds and Flowers

Today was over cast again. It called for possible showers but that didn't happen.
I prepared lots of meals today. I really don't like to cook so I do lots all at once
and freeze them. I also hate to have to clean up but its all done.

The legs to make the couch sit higher are on and I really like it.

After the clean up Fred and I sat on the porch to rest and for me to try to take pictures of
the Humming birds. They are not used to me sitting out there so they take off with any little
movement. I did manage to get 2 shots.  My Azaleas are in full bloom and are so pretty.
I hope they bloom again in the spring.

I am working on a lap robe for the adopt a family and I bought some fun yarn to start another.
Maybe the next one will be a full size blanket.

Tomorrow's weather looks to be the same. But at least I have nothing planned and sitting on
the porch seems like a great day.

I Think he is trying to tell me I need to go somewhere.

Hope you are all Having a great weekend.

Good Night All

  2. Love the hummers. Your gnome is telling you to get out of town. Maybe Santa can find you a van.

  3. Good morning Carolyn,
I wish someone would find me one, and soon. :) I love the hummers too. Down here they are larger than the ones up north. I must catch up on what breed these are.

    Glad you stopped by.

    Hi John,

I love them to. Maybe I should start singing Santa Baby early this year. You think?

Happy to see you this morning.

  4. We sat on the porch always, but in a porch swing. As we went into our own families as we grew up,,,yep, there were porch swings too.

  5. The flowers and the hummers are beautiful!

Glad you got the cooking and cleaning all done. Porch sitting is almost as much fun as sitting on the patio!

    Have a great day, sweetie!

  6. I agree, sitting on a porch and viewing the flowers and birds is a great way to spend a day. If we ever settle and have a house again, a front porch would be a top must-have.

  7. Hi Trouble,
There was a porch swing at Phil's I wonder what ever happened to it. I had kind of swing but gave it away. I miss having a swing.
