Snow on the Mountains

It poured down most of the night and early morning. But by 8:30am it started to clear up. The sun came out and the day was great.

The girls,  went to our Christmas lunch at Cracker Barrel. It was packed and hard to really look around. Maybe I will go back during the week. I love looking at all the cute little things they have.
After the lunch we headed back to my place to open our gifts and drink some wine. I put out some light crackers and hot wing pretzels and a few dips I put together. We had a good time and all went home to take a nap. I cleaned up and set the dish washer up.

I took these pictures as Barb  drove so it wasn't easy with all the traffic, trees and wires. These pictures are of Mount Lemmon(sp)?

The clouds kept getting in the way too.

Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe weekend.

Good Night All

  1. Love Cracker Barrel, but yes, Sundays are really busy for them. Sounds like a nice day you had today. :)

  2. We have a Cracker Barrel right down the street and half the fun is checking out the walls.

  3. Hi Cyn,
It really gets crowded this time of year. Love seeing all the different plates on cars. we did have a fun day.

thank you for coming for a read.

    Hi John,
Yes I love seeing all the old things on the walls.
So interesting to see what once was.

    Thank you for coming over.

  4. Nothing like an outing with friends to make for a good day!

    Pretty pictures, sweetie!

  5. Hi Jim,

It was fun and it does make for a good day.

    Glad you like the pictures

Good to see you hear of course. :)

  6. Mt. Lemmon, I haven't heard that in a long time. I was stationed at DM from 1976 to 1978 and made many trips to Mt. Lemmon during that time. Brings back many memories...anyways nice shots.

  7. Hi MSgt,
    Welcome to my blog.

I haven't been up there in along time. But it sure is pretty to look at when it has snow on it.

    Thank you for stopping by.
