A Very Special Day For A Very Special Grand daughter

This morning I smelled smoke fire on our first walk. I pulled up the local paper and found out there were 2 fires one very close by to here.  That one is under control but the other one has jumped from 50 acres to 1500. Of course they are human caused.. When will people ever learn.

Today it was my Granddaughter Alexi's 15th birthday. In the Mexican tradition they have a large party. I really hated to miss it.
Alexis is a beautiful child with a heart filled with love and kindness for all. She belongs to the ROTC and plans on a military career.
Happy Birthday Alexis.

Good Night All

  2. Good morning John,
    Thank you John.
If I thought everything with the truck was good I would have been there 106 or not. Bringing the truck in Wed. for complete check up of all systems. It runs great but I just don't know.

  3. How are you making it with the smoke? I couldn't. I guess the wind carries it away at times.

  4. Hi Trouble,
there is no smoke at this time. I guess if the wind changes and the fire spreads at which time it has not we may get smoke.

  6. Hi Nomad,
It is at Rock Creek in a canyon on the reservation. They say it is close to being maintained. They updated the acreage to 750 from last night which they said was 1500. Are you still at Los Borros?
