Could Have Been A Better Day

Today I found out that I lost a long time friend.  Way to young to have lost his battle with life. He will be deeply missed by so many.
I just wish I could have been there for his mother. I received a call from  Ms. G this evening and it broke my heart to hear. They have always been like family to all of mine. R.I.P.

As for the rest of the day it was dreaded laundry early this morning. Had someone look at the trailer for his friend. I was told later that maybe he will try to make it up here on Monday. I had planned on heading down the mountain that day. Maybe is not a positive.

Not much else to say tonight.

Good Night All

  1. Sorry to hear of your friend's death. I hate to sit around waiting for a "maybe" unless I have nothing else to do. If I wanted to see something I would set a time to look at it but wouldn't even think of saying "maybe". Go on down the mountain is my advice.

  2. So sorry to hear about your losing your friend, Jo. I know that you were a comfort to his mother.

Don't you hate the uncertainty of waiting to sell? Hoping it will be history soon! :)

  4. so sorry to hear about your friend Jo, that news is hard to take. it is so nice to have friends that are like family. Hope you can get a more positive decision on the trailer soon, but then I will surely be missing a great friend up here.

  5. Thank You all for your kind thoughts. In March they lost their father who such a wonderful man also. This family has been through so much in such a short time. And I know the feeling all to well.

Yes maybe is not an answer you give someone. I guess they think I have nothing better to do than sit and wait for them to maybe come up.

  7. Hello Sunny,

    Thank You.

I hope they show up too. But if not oh well someone will come I'm sure. Like I said I am in no hurry to leave here. No laundry never seems to be done and for just one person? I guess I am just to messy. :)

  9. Hi Nancy,
    Thank you.
It seems once you fall behind it soooo hard to catch up again. I have missed so many blogs myself.
