Pricing Things at Lowe's and Lunch

Since it was another nasty day I picked up my sister and we went to Lowe's to price a few things.

I want to change out the hand towel racks in my bathroom and also light fixtures in both bathrooms. I found some I liked so they will go on the list.
I was also looking for a small fire extinguisher for the camper but they were to big and way to expensive. I'll check Walmart out for all the items to see what is available there.

I did finally get some potting soil and a bigger pot of one of my weeping fig tree and some dry wall screws.

After we finished wandering around Lowe's we decided to go for lunch at Chili's. I had a really nice salad and I couldn't finish it so I took the rest home and had it with my supper.

Good Night All

  1. That's an interesting assortment you have on your shopping list. Looks like you visited all departments.

  2. You have a lot more self discipline at Lowe's than I do. I go with the idea of just looking, but always find lots of stuff I really need right now! :D

  4. Good morning John,
We did visit it all. Good way to spend the morning and get out of the house.

    Hello Sharon,

I don't think its discipline I think it's what was in my wallet. LOL Don't want to spend any money until my camper comes to see what else I might need. :)

    Hi Gypsy,

I understand what your saying. I need to replace so many things in my house. Just can't believe te prices on things these days. Oh well one thing at a time.

  5. How much Len would have loved to have fig trees when we lived in NJ. He always had them in Louisiana. They do have them in NJ but they have to be extremely protected from the weather in the colder months. I've never heard of a weeping fig tree.

  6. Hello Phyllis,

These are not fruit bearing trees they are more for indoor.

My dad had fig trees here in Tucson but one year they had a really deep freeze and he lost them all and his fruit trees too. He never replanted them after that.

  7. I was at Lowes yesterday. Heard they are discontinuing reflectix. Don't know if that's true, but I wanted to get another roll for future usage.

Girl, you are always doing something around your place!
