Loading Up The Truck

The new awning and side panels on porch and  the carport awning are keeping the house much cooler. I ran to Walmart about 8:30am and left the windows and porch door open with the ceiling fans running. Of course by time I finished wandering around looking for things it was already 11:30. But the house was still cool and luckily the a/c hadn't kicked on.

After putting things away it was time to organize the camper. Maybe after this trip I will find that I don't need so many things.

I was going to make some light brownies but forgot to buy milk. So I will run to Safeway in the morning and gas up. Will need to buy ice on my way out on Sun.

Made a green bean salad and bring some salad stuff too.

I know it is going to be pretty cold at night but the days should be really nice. I am bringing 2 candles so I can heat up the camper in the evening before I go to bed and re light them in the morning. To get dressed.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Good Night All

  3. What fun! ... brownies and a green bean salad... I used to make my living making and selling candles... but they can be dangerous. I know you know that. hopefully they are unscented.

the chemicals used to make them can give off a not so healthy flame. no animal to knock them over?

I got one of those little bitty electric heater things. Lead wicks used to be a problem... but they are no longer allowed in this country.... but China? still uses them.

they really do scare me in that small environment. natural beeswax candles wouldn't be bad... plus they burn a long time.

    Hi Carolyn,
Yes the candles will be out of the way. I have those little electric heaters but you need electric for them to work.
