Busy

Yesterday we had some wine to celebrate Christmas with Kathy since she was leaving today.

Then I had Thanksgiving dinner with my sister. It was really good. After dinner we drove around looking at the Christmas lights in the neighborhood. We had hot chocolate with us. But I couldn't really drink mine since I was driving so I waiting until I came home.

Today I went to Michael's to pick up some yarn so I can finish some projects by Tue. the latest. So I have been sitting here crocheting like crazy. In between walking Fred and getting my legs some motion too.

I had bought some mini bell peppers and kept forgetting about them so I cut them up and some onions and sautéed them with some red potatoes. I bagged up some of the peppers and put them in the freezer. When the cooked stuff cools off I will also bag those up and freeze them.

Good Night All

  1. I haven't had an alcoholic drink since before Thanksgiving, and I'm starting to want one again. I know I'll have to abstain while I'm taking pain meds after my surgery, so I wonder if I should just wait for the wine. I'll probably have some and celebrate when my granddaughter gets here on the 17th from PA.

  4. Hi Jim my Buddy,

Yes it was. Have to get these beanies and scarves done for the Cancer Center so I can get them down there by Tue.

    Hi Gypsy,

I don't drink very often but with Kathy leaving for the Holiday's we had to celebrate! But one glass is good enough for me, with ice in it. Yup I'm a cheap date alright.

  5. It's been so icy here that I haven't driven about and so far no one in this neighborhood has hung a light! Just been toooooo icy to enjoy doing anything outside.

It's supposed to be in the low 60's next week! yay!

  6. Well I sure hope so for you sake and everyone there. I'd have cabin fever so bad by now I would need drugs to stay put and not bounce off the walls.
