Winslow, AZ. And My Day

It was a little cooler this morning and most of the day. I changed into sweat pant's and of course by then it warmed up some. Wasn't about to change again so just opened the windows and doors.

I have been typing, and on the phone most of the day trying to fix things with the neighborhood watch stuff. I feel like I am back to work but there will be no pay check at the end of the week.

I told one of my readers Carolyn I would post some Winslow pics for her. I messed up the first round so I'll try again

No not Winlsow but getting closer this is a petrified tree

Well this was not working out well at all. I could not get to the guy on the corner and will try again tomorrow night. Eyes are tired and I'm out of patience.

Good Night All

  1. I enjoyed your photos, Jo, especially the petrified tree. I've never seen one in person.

  2. Just like me, you were standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona and don't forget the gal in a flathead Ford or was that you?

  3. I know I've been through Winslow but I sure can't remember when. Nice pictures! Don't let your volunteer job get to be too much work for you. Remember you got camping to do!

  5. Hello Sharon,

The Petrified Forest is supposed to be protected land but that stuff is everywhere. It is truly amazing.

    Good morning John,

    I will never tell. LOL

    Hi Gypsy,

If I ever get back there I will make sure it isn't Monday. Missed lot of things because mostly all of it is closed that day.

  6. I stayed in Winslow a couple yrs ago when a sand storm closed the Interstate down..I had planned to camp in the area and visit Meteor Crater the next day...but with the wind and sand I ended up in a room in Winslow, I did visit the Crater it was super to see! I enjoyed your photos very much! I took one of that same blue sign~I decided to save the Petrified Forest for my next trip...HOPE that's soon!
