Almost Got It All

Of course I got a later start than I wanted but hey what's the rush. I went for my hair cut and then headed over to Walgreen's  to pick up some meds. they called yesterday to say they were ready. The couple in front of me had the same message. But we didn't have the pills. But a ten minute wait wasn't bad. Kathy sent me a text to go have lunch and I wandered around the store. I told her I had to go grocery shopping first it was a must. But it was still early so I did a fast shopping and put up the cold stuff and we went to lunch. After lunch we took a ride over to BigLot's and I bought a fan on a stand and dog treats.

Back home finished putting up the groceries. I then received a call to let some of the residents know that the water was going to be shut off at 9:30 am tomorrow. It was a pretty big area lots of calls needed to be made.

I finished a scarf I was making so now I need to call my granddaughter and get together with her for lunch and give her the scarf. It was her 21st birthday yesterday. I wonder how they got so grown up so fast.

Good Night All

  1. My oldest granddaughter is 24, and I just can't believe how fast the years go by.

  2. They do grow up fast, My oldest grandson is approaching 30 and that's just not right because he's about to catch me.

  3. That's a big birthday to celebrate and fun to watch as they begin their adult life. Glad you get to share some time with her. Hard to believe but I am really off to Utah today...Yahoo!

  4. Hi Gypsy ,

My oldest grandchild is 27. I keep telling them their only allowed to be 15 but they laugh at me. LOL

    Good morning John,

I don't suppose you could run faster? As long as we feel young were doing good.

    Hello Karen,

Yes it is. Trying to get time with them is hard now. Such busy little people.

Well off you go YIPPEE! Have fun and stay safe. Can't wait to see pictures.

  5. I cant believe my son is already 33...HE's almost middle aged and yet I still think of him as an 8 yr old...

  6. Hi Sondra,

Lol And I'm sure he is thrilled about that too.
