It Is Really Starting Now

Yesterday I had on a flannel shirt to keep warm and socks to keep my feet warm.

Today was shorts and sandals, tomorrow oh my it will be hot!

But off we went to Tohono Chul Desert Gardens for lunch with  the ladies.

We sat out under the trees to have lunch. Big problem with un level ground and chairs that kind of rock. On a flat surface they would have been nice. But I was on a downward slope so I had to sit on the edge of my chair so I could stay up right. The prices are out of sight. But we enjoyed ourselves.

I had fixed all the pictures in Picasa but then I couldn't upload them here.

Good Night All

  1. Your weather is bouncing back and forth like ours, I wish it would settle down.

  2. Same kind of weather here - should get in the upper 80's tomorrow, then back down to the lower 80's for a few days. I will need to get fans out and make sure the swamp cooler is ready to run in case it gets into the 90's. Unfortunately, I have a trip to the hospital tomorrow and can't do anything for a while.

  3. The pictures of the flowers are so pretty. Makes me miss not having a yard of beautiful flowers to look at and have bouquets. Today is supposed to be 89! Wow, talk about a quick warm up. If my memory is correct it did the same thing last year and then kept getting warmer. Yikes!

    Hi Lucy,

    Thanks

    Hello Gypsy,

I'm sure your sons will make sure all is well for you.

    Hi JMD,

These are desert flowers, maybe you can find a local place to buy them. I used to keep but they all died out for some reason.

  5. I am still missing the early blooms on NJ - crocus, daffodils, tulips. Just don't see any here in TX. But they sure do have the Blue Bonnets now.

  6. Hello Phyllis,

Yes miss all those pretty flowers. Had so many in my yard in Lake Hiawatha. Here I'm lucky to keep them alive in pots on my porch.

  8. Hello Sharon,

It is just the prices are sky high. But you can just do tea or coffee and enjoy the flowers and birds.
