Made A Big Decision Today

The wind held off for most of the day so I did get some outdoor time. After reading up more on the new camera I learned how to take a still photo of a moving target it was so far away you couldn't figure out what it was.  So tomorrow the camera goes back to the store. I can't afford to be buying all kinds of lens to get to where I want to be.  So my friend Tom suggested the SX50 it has a 50x optical zoom lens and I can still get the still photo option. I think this camera will also be much lighter to handle. Most of the pictures I have posted came from my power shot.

I finally remember to pull out the rubber squares to put under the privacy tent so as not to be tearing up the bottom of the tent or anyone's feet.

Good Night All

  1. The SX50 is a nice camera. I got a new camera in Feb that I'm having lots of fun with. A Panasonic Lumix. You can shoot the moon with either camera. Simply amazing!

  3. Hi Cyn,

I hope I have one by then but if not I still have my faithful Power Shot.
If I can't find the Canon I will check out the Panasonic Lumix. Thanks for the heads up.

    Hello Karen,

I would love to have the new camera too. There are beautiful birds up there and lots of hawks, deer and bears. Don't want one in my camp but I have seen them playing at the creek.

  4. I bought a small camera this past year but can't figure out all the dumb icons or how to do anything with it. I hate it when they put so many options on a camera that you can't find the one you need.

  5. Hello Gypsy,

It wasn't so much all the options as it didn't have the one I really wanted and needed out of a 100. You had to keep buying lenses and I couldn't afford that or lift the camera.
