Rain We Had Rain

Woke up to a cloud cover but it didn't look promising. So after feeding Fred I decided to go over to Wally World to see what kind of trouble I could get into. But I stuck to my list and still managed to spend way to much money.

Leaving the store the wind had picked up and I thought I felt a few drops. On the way home a few more fell on the windshield but not even enough to turn on the wipers.

I put away the stuff I bought and threw in a load of laundry. I thought I heard something outside and it was raining or more like a drizzle and it was over. Went back to my doing things and then it really rained,  lasted about 4 min. But it cooled down a bit and I was able to open the door and the windows.

Not much going on around here so not much to post.

Good Night All

  1. Sounds like just enough rain to raise the humidity.

  2. Jealous of even that little bit...we got nothing...

  3. Good morning John,

    Yes that it did.

    Hello Ain't,

I understand what you are saying for sure.

  4. That's the kind of rain I like, although it doesn't do anything to ease the drought.

  5. Hi Gypsy,

Yes it was nice but no it didn't do a thing for the drought, it didn't even water my plants.

  6. Well, at least you know there really is such a thing as rain after all now--in case you had forgotten. :D

  7. Hi Jo, I think we managed four drops of rain yesterday. Hoping for a bit more. How are your flowers doing? I think I have just about murdered a marigold. :-(

  8. Glad you got some of the wet stuff!! I returned home from my trip to a big rain and so i was happy I didn't have to water the plants!

  9. Hi Sharon,

The drops on the windshield looked funny like teeny tiny snow flakes. LOL

    Hello JMD,

OK we beat you we had maybe 10. The flowers are struggling with the heat.

    Hi Sondra,

I hope you enjoyed your trip and that the rain kept all you garden things well watered for you.
