Grand Central South West

It was another nice morning with cooler temps and lower humidity. So opened all the widows and door and turned on fans.

The guy to fix the faucet was do at nine so I got ready and waited while I drank coffee. Then I get a call my grandson was on his way via bus. And at 10 my friends Rose an Michele were coming.

I was so into reading something that I almost didn't hear the door or Fred's excitement, as I turned around my grandson was standing there and scared the crap out of me. It was good to see him. I called the fix it guy since it was now 10 and said he was on his way.

I quick made coffee and got my Grandson set with my phone and what ever he needed to get his phone paid. Then Shane came and I showed him the offending faucet and served the ladies coffee.  I sat down to drink the coffee and grandson had some questions but with his fantastic manner he excused himself and was on his way back to the computer room and the phone. They loved him, but he's mine.

Shane, mentioned something about if the faucet is leaking from the middle it may not be fixable. OH NO! that can't happen as I bought them years ago at a close out and I can't afford to replace them both.
Off he went to buy the new part.

The Ladies left and grandson finally got the phone on. What a hassle that was. I had payed it online for him before and never had a problem but they made some changes and the are not user friendly anymore.
Shane returned and sure enough it was still leaking. But he managed to get it fixed. YAY Shane. While he was taking it all apart I ran grandson to Walmart so he could catch the bus to his next stop.

When I got back Shane had it all back together and we had a nice chat. I showed him other things that need to be done. He said make a list and he will give me an estimate on the work. He may have been an hour late but at least he showed up and didn't charge me an arm and a leg.

Later on late afternoon Debbie showed up to pick up the cooler for there little trip tomorrow.

I'm ready to relax tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping in the morning.

Good Night All

  1. Sounds like, with all that traffic, stop and go lights need to be installed.

  2. Good morning John,

Might not be a bad idea. My house is usually very quiet.

  3. Glad your faucet could be fixed. Our kitchen faucet last year could not be....:-( Bought something to get us by for a while. Our house seems to have a motto, if it can break, it will. Right now we desperately need a new patio door. Sigh.

  4. Hi JMD,

It is a never ending saga to own a house. But since mine is paid for and it only cost 82.50 for HOA which includes water and trash removal plus amenities I'll do the repairs and be happy.
