Rain You Say

The windows and door did not get open this morning. The humidity was awful and it wasn't very cool. As the morning worked toward afternoon it became very breezy and sometimes down right windy.

I received a text today from my friend Darrell about the parts needed to install the battery. I agreed and went to the bank to transfer the money. So when he calls I am ready.

The bank is in Safeway so I bought my salads for the week. I came home and had a quick lunch and then headed over to Rose's house for ice tea and chat.

The clouds started to really build and the wind had picked up so I headed home.

I was looking for a picture on the computer and found some I thought I had lost stored in Picasa that made me really happy as they are old barns and crazy rock cliffs with caves in them. The only problem is I can't transfer them to the blog. And of course can't figure out how to move them back into the picture folder. Maybe tomorrow I'll play with it a little more. I will have to buy another thumb drive to transfer them.

Good Night All

  1. I have never been able to figure out Picasa. It was years after I started my blog that I came across Picasa with hundreds of pictures I thought were lost.

  4. Hi Gypsy,

I don't even know how they got there, but I'm glad they are. I will move the ones I want to a thumb drive so I can put them on the blog.

    Hi Ryan,

Thanks I sure hope it works out so I can get out of here.

    HI JMD,

I think I have some space on my little drives to put them there.

At least you are getting rain. My daughter lives on the north east side and they got lots of rain and flooded streets.

  5. Just a little side note, Jo...Picasa does not "store" photos, it just allows you to see your photos and do things to them. If you look again in Picasa and right click on the photo...it will say "locate on computer" or something like that. Then you will see where the photos are actually stored by reading that pathway and then you can upload them because you know where they are! good luck.

  8. Recently my screen saver disappeared...I cant find the photo anywhere that I was using! It was a shot I took of the Roosevelt Bridge in AZ one of my favorite photos I think I can pull it off an external hard drive I have but right now its not hooked up so I will have to do it when I am in the right mood for the hassle of doing that!! We are supposed to get a small reprieve from the humidity. Maybe tomorrow right now its still way hot.

  10. Hi Sondra,

I hate when that stuff happens for no apparent reason. I run out of patience really fast too.

    Hi Nancy,

I has someone show me how to move things around but I forgot like in a heart beat. :( guess I should have taken notes.
