Ready!

I cooked all morning. Made Chicken Pot Pies, Quiche and Honey Mustard Chicken. Honey mustard chicken stays home and half of the quiche. Bagged up what goes, in the freezer and will have to do the same for the fridge when I am done here.

Did the laundry and packed my bag. Tomorrow I'll strip the bed and get that washed, run the vacuum and dust. Give the plants a good watering.

I'll run to the store in the morning to pick up Fred's food.

I'm so ready for this trip can you tell?

Caught sight of these clouds when I took Fred out tonight.

Wish I  could get rid of these wires

Went to the front of the house looks better without wires

Good Night All

  1. A real cooker bee today eh? Way to go, means more days not cooking.

Overhead lines are the bane of my existence. Wish it was all underground. Much more visually appealing.

    1. Hi Lucy,

I couldn't believe it when I stepped out the door with Fred. I'm glad he did his business quick so I could run in and grab the camera. I have been checking the weather up there and see all that rain. but at least it is cooler. Fred misses you too.

  4. Awesome color on those clouds...
In our downtown area they have worked for the past 4 years putting all the overhead wires underground. Its so nice NOT to see those tangles of wire..seems to me electricity could be made wireless with all the new technology around don't you think? Looking forward to your trip posts!

    1. hi Sondra,

Thanks the color is not the same as the naked eye but I am pleased with these shots. In some of the newer developments the wires are buried. It sure is nicer to see things without them

  5. Hope you have a good trip! When Jack and I were out west a few years ago I SO wanted to go to Sedona but we didn't get there. Went all around it and loved it all. Maybe next time.

    1. Hi Anne,

I have been to Sedona before but one speeding guided tour and one missed turn. I have never been there to stay for a few days so I am very excited. I don't know how far I may be from the red mountains as I have never been to this area before. But camera's are ready to snap away.

  6. Beautiful pictures, Jo. I'm sorry I just can't seem to keep up with my blog reading. I think I put too many in my reader--just so many interesting people out there. Pats to Fred from Jack and me.

  8. Hi Nancy,

Thank you. I hope to get lots of pictures this week. I know I have so many blogs to read also I do my best to keep up but sometimes just get to tired sitting here. Fred said pats back to Jack.

    Hi Sunny,

Taking off with Terry tomorrow for Sedona, so that was what the food was for. This is a long awaited get away first one since April. Staying in a cottage. But I will take lots of pictures.

    What's wrong with your RV?
