Time To Move Into It

Day started off with a real surprise! When I let Fred out this morning at 6 am I saw snow! Not much but snow non the less and boy was it cold and tonight will be even colder but no snow or rain.

Our Luncheon went well nice healthy food good company.
My sis brought over ham n bean soup man was that good and felt great going down to warm your insides, Rose brought a nice veggie plate and Barb brought over a dip and crackers. And then the food I mentioned last night. Had some wine and then coffee.

After everyone left I ran the dishwasher but still had some dishes that wouldn't fit. But the main ones to be put away for another year are done and the table cloth and napkins are washed and put away too. Tomorrow the tree and if I have any energy left the outdoor decorations will be away too. I did disconnect the timers so no more lights.

I hope you all had a safe and wonderful Holiday too.

This was taken at 6 am its the neighbors car. She thinks keeping this hood open and a light shining will keep away critters it might if there was any.

Strange shapes in her yard and the cover blew off her dead tree

The mountain south of me wonder how I managed to miss that street sign

to the north behind my house not as much snow there as it isn't as high

Good Night All!

  1. I left you a comment on your previous post at the bottom. You did get SNOW. It counts. Was Fred less than impressed?

  4. Hi JMD,

Yes I had read it. There wasn't much but it was so cold he just wanted back inside. Since I adopted Fred up north he knows snow and he loves it, but rain is another story hates water.

    Hi Gypsy,

Yes it is over so fast but was enjoyed.

    Hi Kevin n Tracy,

We did enjoy the afternoon. Hope your day was just as much fun.

  5. So far I haven't seen snow this winter, and hope I don't!

The ham and bean soup sounds so satisfying!

I fixed a small pot of ham and black eyed peas to ring in the new year. So we'll see if it's true that brings good luck like they say. :)
