2 Day's

Yesterday was a really great day. Barb, Kathy and I headed out at 9 am for the Art Festival in Tubac. It was a little breezy when we arrived but it quickly died down. We walked around and saw pretty much the same stuff they usually have. But just being out and walking in the sun and cool morning was the ticket. When we first entered we noticed one of the stores was closing for retirement reasons. I have been looking for something to put on the back of my house to kind of dress it up. It looks very boring when driving down the back road. They had a huge sun face and everything was 50% off. On our way out I purchased it for $18.69 sure happy we weren't parked to far away.
Then it was off to lunch at the Golf Resort down the road. Lunch was fantastic and the ice cold water was even more special.

Today I sprayed weeds but ran out so tomorrow after breakfast I will go to Lowe's and buy more. I also need to find the 3rd color for painting my house. The guy will stop by Wed. to give an estimate and I'll find out if I have to higher some else to replace the trim boards  He will also hang my Sunny Face when he is done.
Cleaned up the porch as it is now time for enjoying sitting out there. I will pick up some bird seed too. See what has arrived on the migration route.

Good Night All

  1. Sounds like you're thinking Spring! Me too and MY YARD is still covered in fall debris and with about 1,000 tress all over the place you can only imagine the mess! I decided to leave it in place because we have an erosion problem...although most of the rain comes in the spring....but every little bit helps. Hope to see photos of that Sun face it sounds like the perfect solution to a bare spot.

  2. Hi Sondra,

Yes spring here is short then it gets blistering hot. So have to enjoy it while we can. As I posted last night I realized I should have taken a picture. Will do it later today and post tonight.

The leaves also will help feed the ground again too. That's a lot of trees to rake up haha I had 1 tree in my yard and had to cut it down the yard is way to small to support a tree and the roots were coming up out of the ground.
