I am Livid!

Update,

Just recieved  a call that my niece lost her long hard faught battle with cancer at 1 am this morning. R.I.P Karen

This day has started out really bad

This morning when I opened my FB I see a picture of my 9 week old great granddaughter with a horrible dog paw scratch on her tiny leg, my granddaughter was carrying the baby who was asleep in her arms to their apt. when the dog came crashing through the hedges. What in gods name kind of dog owners allow this type of thing to happen. And what about the management? These dogs have been a problem now for sometime. I can't copy and paste the picture for some reason that has never worked but I am in tears over this.

  1. So very sorry about your niece. We've come a long way in treating cancer but not far enough. And your poor great grandbaby. Sure hope she's going to be okay. I don't understand and I never will why people get dogs and then don't train them or leash them or something. Hope management steps up and does something.

  2. I offer my condolences on your niece's losing battle with cancer.

I think the police should be notified about the dog, and soon. The dog's owners should definitely be cited, and should have to pay for a medical exam and care for the baby. That is such an outrage to let a vicious dog get loose.

  3. Hi Sandie,

Thank you my niece suffered for a long time but fought hard.
I don't understand some dog owners either. People always tell me I am to hard on my dog because he is not allowed to jump on people this just justifies why.

    Hi Gypsy,

    Thank you.

The police were called and went to the hospital and my granddaugher is following up with a complain against the dog owners and the complex. It is an outrage especial since this has been a problem for quite sometime

  4. Our condolences about your niece but as Sadie said they have come a long way in its treatment but not far enough yet.
There are By-Laws in most municipalities about dog ownership but the biggest problem is the training of the owners themselves.
    BE Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

    1. Thank You Rick,

And this morning the same dog went after my daughter who was holding the other twin. I can't believe some people are that ignorant.

  5. SO sorry you lost a loved one, it's never easy...at least she is now free of all that pain.....And hope the owners of the dog realize how serious it is to NOT be responsible for their dogs..It just makes life better when we all do OUR part! I hope your GG will be okay.

Thank you Sondra, We know she is now in a much better place and pain free.

As for the dog owners they learned nothing last night at the dog was running free again and going after people

  7. I am so sorry to hear about your niece, Jo.

And I hope they make the owners either keep the dogs inside or properly restrained. Or rehomed!

  12. I'm very sorry to hear about your niece; my sincere condolences.
I'm very strict on Chigger also. No jumping up allowed at all and I'm astounded at the number of people that don't see the problem with that. Or don't care.

  13. Hi Karen,

Thank you for your kind wishes.

    Hi Annie,

    Thank you.

Some people think it's cruel to train a dog to listen and those are the ones who cause others injury because of there un trained dogs. It's the owner fault not the dogs
