Another One Bites The Dust

These past 2 days the weather hasn't been to bad, well it wasn't in the triple digits anyway. Breezy so it helped some.

I had found another van in another county so I called and talked with the owner. Said he had been waiting for a couple people who wanted the van but were having trouble with the money end. I called my friend and we talked about taking a drive down to look. I called the guy back to let him know I would come the next day unless he sold it first. He called me the next morning to let me know it was sold. We talked for awhile and seems like a really nice guy. He must be if he called me to let know not to make the trip. So the search is still on.

Since we weren't going to make the trip we went out to lunch instead. At least the day wasn't a total loss.

Good Night All

  1. Yes, that Louis did appear on my blog.

Not enough times is someone thoughtful enough to do the considerate thing/

  2. You will eventually find what you are looking for - patience is the key. I'm looking at dogs online to find the perfect pet for me, but I'm in NY and can't get a CA dog until I return. It's so frustrating.

  3. Absolutely wonderful that he called to let you know it was sold. Wish more people were that thoughtful. Hang in there.

  4. Hi Phyllis,

These pests can be stopped by deleting their post forever.
This was so nice of the man to do that Sierra Vista is a long drive from Tucson.

    Hi Gypsy,

I had been looking for a van for 2 yrs. once on before then bought the truck instead. So now the search is on again. And I want to go camping so bad right now. I'm sure you'll find a dog once you get home.

    Hi Jim n Sandie,

It was really nice of him. We chatted for some time about different things and his up coming trip out of the country. Very interesting man. I'll continue my search for sure.

  6. Hey Jo I drove all over Vail Casa Grande Tucson in one day looking for the right van. Then on the way home stopped at Safeway to get some good and there was the Turtle sitting in the parking lot wish I would have pulled in there before I left.

  8. Hi Ryan,
I put out a shout to my grandson's who work in places with customers to keep an eye out for anyone selling a high top conversion van. Hope that works too. Been checking out lots of countys and even NM.

  10. You will find the right one for you. Be sure that you can fully stand up in it....it will save your back from extra pain. I love that I don't have all the lifting and moving of STUFF in the ROADTREK.
