Last night around 9 it started raining cats n dogs, but didn't last very long. The temps dropped into the 40s. I knew as soon as I put away the flannel sheets this was going to happen.
This morning it dawned cloudy and chilly. So I had to put the little heater on in the computer room much to Fred's delight.
My friend Louise called and said she was back in town and could we meet for lunch. I figured sure why not. Then I sent Lucy a text and she was just getting ready to send me one that she was in town and lets do lunch.
Lucy and I met at Walmart as she needed to do some shopping and so did I. We had to meet Louise at 1 so we just wondered around Walmart. I found a nice small ice chest on wheels that should work just perfect for me.
Then off we went to meet Louise. I thought I spotted her car but she wasn't inside. We waited a bit and then here she came walking from Good Will. We had a great lunch as always and talked our heads off.
I had been telling Lucy about being able to put up that little chair. I had my regular camping chair back there since Sat. so we looked at the space Lucy, opened the chair and it fit. Yes that is much better and a lot more comfortable. So slowly but surely improvements are coming along.

I also put the summer bedding on, but kept my lightweight thermal blanket. I find that once I settle into the bed I warm up pretty fast. You just can't second-guess the weather, can you.

ReplyDeleteNo you can't and yes you warm up after a bit. I have Accura Weather on my laptop and I new it would do this but on the warmer nights it was just to warm.
Glad you had a good time and found a chair to work for you. Nice day here, tomorrow will be in the low 80's. :-)
