Yesterday we all piled into the car and went to Tubac for a quick stop. Our goal was the spice shop in Tumacacori. Oh the wonderful smells. I only picked up small things but found wonderful children's books. Lots of birthdays coming up.
We then piled back into the car and drove back to Tubac to the Otero Ranch which was founded in 1796 and is still ranched in a much smaller scale. It is now a Golf Course, Restaurants rental casitas for the rich and an Antique shop that also sells new things. Everything is so expensive it takes your breath away. But we enjoyed walking around and looking at all the neat little and large things.
We had reservations for lunch at the Stables Restaurant, the food is very good and the prices are not to bad. We managed a table out side over looking a pond, part of the golf course and some calves, their mamma's and bulls.
It was a wonderful outing.
I have no idea what kind of tree this is but loved the bark and it was in bloom and we all started to sneeze
The spice shop
These shots were taken at the Otero Ranch such a pretty and pleasant place
We aren't sure but it might be a Barn Swallow? just beautiful
Have a Great Day!
