Desert Museum Part 2

Cousins got off early this morning and I will miss them.

I have more pictures to post today

Recreation of the way bones are found

Cactus Wren nest

Brown Bear

Mexican Grey Wolf, there was some table being removed outside his closure and he thought maybe he was going to get something to eat and his lady friend was running in circles

Don't know what kind of flowers these are

I believe this is a Crane but not sure what kind

Good Night All

  1. That bone recreation is really cool, it reminds of the one I saw at Dinosaur Nat Mon. in Utah! I believe you have a Great Blue Heron, it is about the same size and color as a sandhill crane for sure...Really love all these colorful flowers!!
I'm hoping for rain here today we have some clouds we sure need the rain right now.

  2. Hi Sondra,

Yes I have more pictures of Dinosaur bones in the collection. Thanks for naming the bird. A real beauty.
Hope you get the rain. It clouded up a bit yesterday but nothing.

  3. Think I saw a mexican grey wolf on the property last year. Called the fish and game the sent a truck out. Said it's possible one could have wondered down here or maybe just a hybrid. Great pics!

  7. Hi Jo,

Are you the same Jo that responded to my blog because you subscribe to The Bayfield Bunch? I'm at Methetoadandtheroad.com. If so, I'm very glad to find your blog! Unfortunately I've not added anything to my posts, but now that I'm spending the month back in Albuquerque (home) I hope to get something up! Good to connect with you! Rhonda
