Shampooing

Been working my butt off these past few days, shampooing
my carpets. Can't believe the dirt that came out of them.
It's all Fred's fault and he wouldn't even help. I just about made it before I ran out of shampoo. I would have liked to give it another shot in the living room but was not about to run to the store. Managed to get the machine out to the shed so I could clean it up then totally ran out of energy. My back gave me a piece of it's mind too. I had the rugs cleaned back in Sept. and I was not happy. Seems all they did was pour tons of water on them and they never looked any cleaner. I had to drag out my shampooer to suck out all the water. Never again will I pay to have them cleaned.

After putting everything away I found a brand new bottle of shampoo GRrrrr. Also found a bottle of floor cleaner for the Floor Mate. That will get done last.

Sat out on the porch for a bit after I was done to give the rugs some extra drying time it was a really nice day out.

This print is so weird today. What changes have been made now

Now for some rest and mindless TV.

Good Night All

  1. Your print looks fine. The font size on mine keeps changing.

I've always had fairly good results from having carpets cleaned, but I got rid of the horrible carpets when I moved in here. I need to do a good cleaning on the floors, ut I just don't have the energy right now, plus I am still in the process of purging stuff in my house. When I die it should be much easier on my kids to go through my things - much easier than their dad's stuff!

  2. Hi Gypsy,

I have so much to get rid of it isn't funny. I wish I would have put in laminate instead of lthe carpet to late now.

  5. I used to have to do the same we got rid of all the carpet, and just have several cheap area rugs I do spot clean them and when they get dingy out they go and news are purchased. The old time store we have in town sells 3 x 5 rugs for $7 each! Take care of your back!

  6. Hi Sondra,

I made the mistake of putting these new carpet in about 5 yrs ago. I would love to take them out going to see how much it would cost to put in something hard. Yep my back was talking nasty pretty much was a slow day yesterday

  7. It is amazing how much dirt we humans can track in to a home let alone someone like Fred who doesn't mind the dirt at all.
I've always written our post on a word document then Copied and Pasted to Blogger. Lately it has the same effect as your post and I had to readjust the spacing every time. Oh Well!
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.
