Yesterday took a ride to Apache Junction to have lunch with some other members of a women's camping group at the Merage, the food was wonderful and the company was fun. We had a great time and lots of summer talk and other traveling things were discussed. I only brought along that stinkin Kodak camera so pictures where not even worth posting.
I was offered many places to stay up on the Mountain as lots of these ladies have places there. I appreciate all the offers. I don't know what I am going to do at this point but I really would rather find something where I am not couch surfing.
Today I finally planted the flowers I picked up Sunday. They look much happier in larger pots. If they live until this Sunday I will pick up a few more. I should have taken some pictures but after cleaning things up and taking things to the shed for storage I was done.
Tomorrow I really need to get a hair cut so that is first thing in the morning.

I'm starting to get the urge to go someplace and set up my tent, but I'll be flying to NY in about 3 wks. I hope you find a good camping opportunity soon.

ReplyDeleteI stopped at the Ghost town in A.J. when I was visiting a friend in Mesa in 2011, we stopped at the old west town...then camped at Apache Lake, we had a blast. How fun to get together with some fun gals to share ideas and experiences with! Your summer plan will come together! Im going away this week on a 3 day trip hope to do some spring birding too.

If it wasn't for not having a place to keep Fred during lunch I would have loved to spend the nice and Apache Lake, But leaving him in the truck thru lunch was not an option in the heat. So I had to leave him home which meant I had to come home. Enjoy your trip and can't wait to see what kind of birds you photograph this time.
