To Many Set Backs

After having such a good week I started to feel bad. At first I thought it was allergies but it just got worse and bam it hit me. I had the worst head cold which went into my lungs. The coughing caused some really painful pulled muscles in my sides and lower stomach. What next?

I put up a pot of chicken soup but all I had was boneless skinless breast so I threw them in the pot. It didn't even smell like chicken soup but it was good and I ate it as cooking anything else was just not going to happen. I pretty much stayed home and did some sleeping in the CHAIR! I really do not like this new chair. It isn't as comfortable as the other one but I couldn't lay down since it made me cough even more. I had some antibiotics that the Dr. had given me but I never took them because the schedule interfered with my other medications. So I juggeled the other meds around and started taking them. I guess they worked because I started to feel a little better. I had to run to the store for a refill and bought some chicken legs and a few more veggies and made another pot of chicken soup. Yes that was the ticket is smelled so good and sure tasted more like the real deal. I do take off the skin and cut off any fat that may be on there, but I think it is all in the bone that the benefit comes from. I have been able to sleep in my bed for 2 nights now and it sure feels good.

Today instead of going out to breakfast Tracy picked up some stuff and we ate here at the house. After a while we went out to the .99 store for more veggies and Tracy picked up some decorations for Halloween. And it was right back home. She later sent a video of her place all decorated it looks so good. That girl loves Halloween.

I seem to be having a problem with spell check it isn't where it should be and it bounces all over the place and when I do click on it it doesn't seem to do anything.

Good Night All

  1. For the past few years I only buy chicken breasts. I just don't care for dark meat, and I don't want to cook something I will throw out, or not enjoy eating.

You must have had a really bad bout with that illness. Could it be something in the air? I don't remember if your area has had high winds, but I know the northwest sure has had them. That blows all kinds of bad things into the air and into your lungs. Hope you are feeling much better.

  2. I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. I had a terrible cold that went to my chest while I was out west. Fortunately, I had some antibiotics with me so I think it prevented bronchitis. When I got home, I learned That both my sons had had terrible cold that went to their chest as well so it must be something that's going around all over the place. Feel better. Love to Fred.

  3. I don't want to hear this. I'm sure my running nose and coughing are from allergies. They just have to be. But glad you're feeling so much better. Nothing like chicken soup to make things much better.

As for just eating chicken that is all I buy too. But for that good old healing chicken soup it needs the bones, at least that't belief and it sure tasted better too. Yes we get lots of high winds and the junk it blows around. Thanks for the well wished.
