Went to the make up exercise class this morning then stopped at Dr. office to pick up the labs that need to be done. While I was there we did a weigh in and I lost 4 lbs. Very happy about that. Tomorrow is another class and then a 2 day reprieve. But I'll make sure I keep moving and do some stretches.
My daughter Debbie came by tonight and we had diner together. Had some Southwestern Chicken, Spanish rice and I had Southwestern Black Bean salad. Debbie doesn't like black beans. It was a nice visit. We don't get to see much of each other these days with her busy schedule running her boys everywhere. At least basketball is over for a few months and that will give her a break.

ReplyDeleteI love black beans we cook our own from dry beans my mom has a good recipe its Sweet pot. cubed, onion, white corn (we use frozen) and black beans all in one skillet, season with chili powder and garlic while the onions are sauteing we pre cook the sweet pot. in the microwave for about 6 mins, then add all the ingredients to the skillet simmer till its all done and its delicious!
