Made it to Big Lake

This sign was hanging outside the little general store at Big Lake, the people were so friendly and told us the story of being evacuated and how the fire changed direction away from there store and lively hood. Bought the t-shirt to help recover some of their losses.

I took so many pictures it will take some time to finish showing them all on blogger.

The weather for this trip was iffy as you will see but we forged on anyway and it was beautiful. We got rained on a few times but it was OK. I sure wish I could capture some lightening.

And of course the clouds that came along with us.

The following are the lake before Big Lake and I can't remember the name.

I know someone will see it and tell me what it is or I will remember to ask someone who goes fishing out that way and then I will post it.

At first I didn't even see this dog. He was so quiet and never stirred. His people must have been out there fishing.

It will take quite a bit of rain to bring this lake back up to its shore line

See the rain from center to left

Well that is it for this post. I hope you enjoy the show.

  4. Hi Phyllis,
No it isn't hot up here. We had some hot days about a 1 1/2 weeks ago. We are getting lots of rain and it gets humid but it still beats being in Tucson.:D
    Thanks for dropping in.
