So today I am not proud

The day started out beautiful. The sun was shining and it was nice and cool. I had been thinking about the buys I passed up yesterday and the draw was strong. So back I went to the Art Show. The 3 bowls are useful to me, the 2 larger ones can be used for cereal, soup or as advertised salsa bowls see the spoon in the one bowl. I only took the one spoon. The smaller bowl was listed as a kitty bowl, me I saw ice cream. :) The other piece that had caught my eye was sold. But it was more for the looks that I liked it. Worked out for the best to be gone.

I came back home and cleaned up the porch and put some things in the shed until next week when they have the yard sale here in the RV Park. I have a few donations and we are also having an Art Show. I will have a table to sell some of my photo's.

Just as I finished cleaning up the rain came hard and fast. It was nice to just sit there and listen to the rain hitting the awning. Read a book and drank ice tea. Around 5pm fired up the grill for my steak, Yummy. It rained on and off most of the day. Around 7 it really stormed. Lots of lightening and thunder. Very pretty.

I hope you all had a great 4th even if you had rain.

  5. Hey Nana,

The bowls are really neat looking. I honestly love them. Looks like a good buy to me. Hey I eat lots of cereal and ice cream of course so that was a good purpose haha! Hey an dI make good gucamole so I think you did good buys haha.

Post the photos you're going to put in the sale in your rv park so we can see them too. What if we want to make a buy. I would love one for Marcello.

Seems so peaceful there! Listening to the rain and drinking my favorite... tea.

  6. Oh, rain - as much as I would love to have it here, it would make the weeds grow... Always a flip side, isn't there? But oh, to sit and read something good knowing that the falling rain was keeping me inside - sounds very nice.
