Keeping Mom's Little Run Away

This is a picture taken in Tombstone, AZ. on my maiden voyage in Mom's Little
Run Away. I can't believe it has been over 3 yrs.

After a week at the Wells Fargo RV Park I moved on to Bisbee, AZ and Queen Mine RV Park for another week.
The other day I had lunch with a friend who has been solo RVing for many years now. We had been talking about my dission about whether to sell my mh. She simply said, you shouldn't sell your mh. That was the end of our conversation on that subject. But it has stuck with me. Sometimes the simplest answer to something is the one that sticks with you. I thank you Bobbie for that. I could no more sell my mh than sell this place up here in Lakeside at this time. I have been itching to take off for somewhere, but this time of year to head back to Tucson would not be the answer when the temps are still in the triple digits. There wouldn't be anywhere to go in Southern AZ. that I wouldn't  fry.
So I guess I need to just go find an adventure up in this neck of the woods and be content right now. There will be plenty of places to go over the winter.

  1. Darn, I was so looking forward to you in the good humor truck. Seriously, when in doubt no action is probably best.

  2. The motorhome would be much more comfortable to spend long periods of time in than a van. We've had both and I'm sure your sister is right.

  3. LOL so was I John. We have been laughing about that for a few days around here. Me coming down the street with the music going and the kids trying to stop me. LOL But on the serous side I will see what goes down as far as traveling this winter.

Hi Granny, Bobbie is a freind of mine and she has been full timing for a very long time. I love my little mh so I think she is a keeper.

Thank you both for stopping in for a read this morning.

  4. Just my two cents, but I wouldn't get rid of the MH just yet! Good to have that added option just in case!

Even if you don't get to use it much, great to keep around!

Besides, think of the freedom it gives you!

    Have a great day, sweetie!

  5. That sure is a nice one Jojo, I wouldn't sell it neither. Especially since you got your own built in shade where ever you go. I know from my experience, it's kinda hard to find a good tree sometimes.

thanks to dropping in for a read Special Freind.

    Hi HoboJoe,
Glad you stopped in. Theres something about putting out the awning and sitting under it. It makes for such a cozy sitting area.
